Extractions in White Hills
Having a tooth extracted may feel like you’re losing a part of yourself, but at Whitehills Dental Practice, we’ll be right by your side during this procedure. We’ll do whatever we can to save your natural tooth, but if extraction is the best option for your oral and overall health, we’re here to help.
And if your wisdom teeth need to come out, we perform gentle extractions to reduce discomfort and protect your healthy smile.
When Is an Extraction Necessary?
Several dental issues may require us to remove one or more of your teeth. Before performing an extraction, we’ll explain the procedure to you; if necessary, we’ll discuss whether a single-tooth dental implant, implant-supported bridge or partial denture can fill the gap in your smile.
Extractions are necessary for:
- Wisdom teeth
- Impacted teeth
- Severely decayed teeth
- Overcrowded teeth
- Fractured or broken teeth
- Dental trauma
- Unsuccessful root canal treatment
