Dentures and Partials in White Hills

When you have missing teeth, doing the simplest things is difficult. You may be unable to speak clearly or eat your favourite foods, and you certainly don’t look forward to smiling in pictures or socialising with your friends and loved ones.

If you’re unhappy with your smile, our White Hills dental clinic would love to speak with you about restoring your oral health and trying to boost your confidence with full or partial dentures. We have all the equipment, materials and experience to replace some or all of your teeth safely and conveniently. Our in-house CT scanner and OPG x-ray machine make it possible to precisely plan your treatment.

Which Option Is Right for You?

  • Traditional full dentures — A full denture rests on your gums and replaces all your upper or lower teeth. The denture base forms a seal with your gums and restores your ability to chew and speak properly.
  • Traditional partial dentures — When your missing teeth are in various places, a partial denture replaces those teeth and is held in place with clasps that fit securely around your remaining natural teeth.
  • Implant-supported dentures — This removable denture is attached to two or more dental implants; you can easily snap it on and off to clean it. Implant-supported dentures are supported by gum tissue and dental implants, giving your smile added stability and functionality.
  • All-on-x dentures — With the all-on-x treatment concept, we precisely place 4 to 6 implants to hold an entire upper or lower arch of teeth. Because dental implants are placed at an angle, we can restore your entire smile without bone grafting, making it ideal for patients who don’t have sufficient bone density for traditional implants.

The Benefits of Combining Dental Implants and Dentures in White Hills

Traditional dentures can sometimes slip or move in your mouth, making eating or speaking difficult. You may even have to use adhesives to help with this issue, but they may not work as well as you’d like. When you combine dental implants with either a full or partial denture, here’s how your smile could benefit:

Smile Stability

With implant-supported dentures, you won’t have to worry about your dentures slipping, and adhesives aren’t necessary to hold them in place. Your implants will keep your dentures secure.

Jawbone Health

When your dentures are supported by dental implants, they stimulate your jawbone and keep it from deteriorating. The implants keep your jawbone healthy and can help you avoid looking older.

Better Bite Force

Combining dental implants and dentures can restore your ability to bite down normally and chew your favourite foods. Imagine not ever having to worry about whether you can eat something!

Dentures and Partials Technology

Digital Impressions/intra-oral scans

Digital impressions make it possible to generate a digital model of your teeth and gums. Using an intraoral scanner, we can capture detailed images of your mouth. This gives us a precise, 3-D replica of your mouth without traditional, messy impressions. We use these impressions to fabricate dental restorations such as crowns, bridges and dentures.
